講演は日本語と英語にて行われ、能に馴染みの無い方も対象としています。

今回は、チェスター大学・教育学科のイベントとしてオープン講座といたします。　

夏目漱石が明治44（1911）年に『朝日新聞』で「シェイクスピア能」を提唱した。この「能ハムレット」は、そのほぼ70年後に英語と日本語で実現したものである。

米ハーヴァード大学フルブライト研究員だった1973-75年、宗片は『ハムレット』英語原文を仕舞で演じた。その試みが大好評だったことをきっかけに、帰国後『英語能ハムレット』を完成させた。その後『オセロー』『マクベス』『リア王』などの英語能を創作、自らシテ（主役）を演じた。

また、日本語能『オセロー』『クレオパトラ』『トマス・ベケット』『二人のノーラ』『リア王』を創作、観世流を中心とした能楽師たちにより国内外で公演されている。その特徴は、能楽大成者世阿弥に忠実な作法で、精神性、簡素、禅思想などを尊重し、万人の寿福を目的とし、「ホリスティック」(holistic) と評された。「能ハムレット」これまでの主な公演

Michie's Last Yoga Class

☆Dear Nipponkai Members☆

I have to tell you with regret, this week's yoga class will be the last lesson.

The reason is, I have my business as an astrologer and it's going well and busier now 

and I have to use my time for next business plan which I have a institute for training my students.

So I can't hold this yoga class, I sincerely apologize and I really appreciate to everyone who join this class 

and share a special time with me.

In July, I'll hold  a yoga class for kids and Adults on July 25th (from 1pm).

This is my last yoga lesson, so join this last class and enjoy with me! 

Date: at 1 pm on June 25th (for Kids Yoga)
Venue: at The Unity Centre, Chester
Cost: £6 per 1 lesson (For members £3, For Kids £1)

７月の「キッズヨガ」（２５日）についてのお知らせと、今後のヨガクラス閉講についてのお知らせです☆

今まで楽しみに通って下さっていた方には、本当に申し訳ないのですが、今月のヨガが、最後のヨガレッスンになります☆ 

理由は、私のアストロロジャーとしての仕事がかなり忙しくなり、現在、「Michie Shipley Whole Healing Institute」という、

占いや気功等のボディワーク、瞑想等を教えるスクールを、日本で始める準備に入ったためです。（内容はまだ、懸案中です）

Chester GIANTS PARADE Sunday 2 June 2013

We're delighted to inform you that we're taking part in THE GIANT PARADE this year.  Please take a look at the attached information.
It's going to be on Sunday 2nd June, so please note this date on your calendar!  We took part in it last year and it was such fun!!
We hope that many of you are able to join this wonderful event.  We're always looking for volunteers to get involved in Nipponkai events, please let us know if you can. Your help is most appreciated.
